Warning: Don't Get Sucked into Overspending
So.. it seems to be that time of year again. Christmas Day is quickly approaching. A lot of people are having financial difficulties this year. If you have more time than money, then home-made gifts are a great option. As a matter of fact, I will be encouraging my girls and maybe even my son to make some gifts this year.
Here are some places for great home-made gift ideas:
Better Homes & Gardens Crafts & Homemade Gifts
Family Fun: Christmas Cards, Gifts and Decorations
50 Homemade Gift Ideas
Homemade Gifts and Frugal Crafts for Moms, Dads and Kids
I have decided to do the majority of my shopping online this year unless I just happen to be out anyway and see something someone might like.
For the most part, I will be sticking to items which are inexpensive, practical and enhance the lives of families and/or individuals this year. I will be purchasing one of 4 things for pretty much everyone I know:
1. Books
2. Puzzles
3. Board Games
4. Clothing
Most of my shopping will be done with Amazon, Christian Book Distributors and Crossings Book Club.

Awesome ideas, thanks for sharing
.
Thank you for sharing I need to post what I am doing this year for Christmas.
Thanks for the awesome ideas! I do a lot of my Christmas shopping online, too.
We always make a lot of our gifts. Cookie tubs are a tradition. Also I make picture gifts every year. This year I am making memory games for the younger ones using family pictures. We also are going to make soap and candles and crochet and sewing. We use December at our school for Art, Fine Arts, Music and stuff like that.
